Steel Chimney Maintenance
Structural steel chimneys and flare stacks need to undergo maintenance inspections every year to ensure their safe operation because of both their height and the nature of their construction.
Stone carries out NDT thickness tests to plate work and chimney stack fibre, including welds, bolts to flanges, base plate mountings if the structure is free-standing, support steel work and guy rope systems.
All inspections are in line with HSE guidelines GS53.
